Lisa Ahronee Golub is an artist currently based in Huntington, New York. She grew up in Rome, Italy and spent her summers in Geneva, Switzerland. After graduating from Wellesley College with a degree in mathematics and French, she moved to New York City to begin her career in banking. Painting was always her greatest passion and hobby, but it wasn’t until she settled down with her family on Long Island that her artistic journey really took off.

Lisa first started exhibiting her work in 2002 for both juried and solo shows. Her primary focus is portraiture of people and animals, but she also enjoys capturing landscapes of special places she has visited.

The majority of Lisa’s portfolio is comprised of paintings for themed exhibitions that range from Bronx Zoo animals to visual and performing artists. Her most recent show “Out of East Africa” featured 40 paintings from her travels to Rwanda and Tanzania. The exhibit highlighted the incredible wildlife, landscape, and local culture. Lisa’s preferred mediums are soft pastel, oil paint, gouache, and oil pastel. Her work is characterized by a vibrant use of color, textures, and unique composition.

Outside of the art studio, Lisa enjoys hiking with her husband and three huskies, golfing, and spending time with her two talented daughters.

Signed gicle prints (unframed) are available in different sizes for any of the paintings. Please contact the artist and indicate the desired dimensions for a price quote.
